THE BIG TRIAL – DAY 1

The first day of the big trial was held today. And it was a day with lot of feelings for the clubs involved.
10 teams had their case presented in front of a jury, and conviction was made.
Willbury Argyle, Beastham, Albion Rovers and Pearl Ham was found “not guilty” and was free to go.
Oakwell Forest and Working was found guilty and convicted to pay a fine for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Ramshackle, Carstone and Claysen United was found guilty in influencing games to their advantage and was convicted to withdraw 4, 11 and 16 points this season. The clubs were not happy with that decision, and Claysen United director Jacob Dollar was seen in desperate talk with his lawyer on his way to his green limousine.
But for Goford it was a far more dramatic day. They were found guilty in serious corruption and convicted with relegation. Director Dilbert Dawson was so shocked that he nearly had a heart attack and needed help to leave the courtroom.
This was not a good day for British football…… And this was just the first day.
