NEWSHAM GRABS THE FA CUP TROPHY

Newsham captain Barry Steel could proudly lift the Royal FA Cup trophy after beating Maiden City 1-0 in a nerve-wrecking final at Trembley.
None of the teams seem eager to attack, but manage to get some really good chances in both ends. Good defending and good keepers will be remembered from this game.
And when everyone was settled for extra time, Newsham made a fantastic counter attack and scored in the 90th minute of the game.
With that goal Newsham manager Tor Gunnar Veivelling won his first trophy for the club, in a season where they were close to relegate.
This was probably his lifeboat from being sacked from his position.
