A GLIMPSE AT THE TABLE

Blackboys have entered the top of the table in division 1. They fought hard against Manston City for the trophy last year, but had a really bad start to this year campaign. But when we now have come to middle of November, they have turned things around and have once again proved that they are to be counted on.
In the bottom of the table we find the former giant Lutham Forest struggling. Things have been hard since their relegation to division 2 in 2013. They had a few season to recover and promoted back to division 1 last season. But the level now seems too high for the historical club who was one of the founders of Royal League.
In division 2 we had expected Oxham Rovers to battle for promotion after their exit from division 1 last season.
But so far they have failed spectacularly, and find themselves at number 15 on the table. Instead the old club Oakwell Forest has got a good grip on the season, and lead the division. It is the former England U21 coach, James Cook, who has managed the club since their relegation in 2014. Cook has built a new team from scratch the last two seasons, and now it looks like it’s about to pay off.
Livernal on the bottom of the table is hoping to get immediate effect after sacking manager Tim Williams, and replace him with former Newborough and Everilla manager Harry Hamilton. Livernal was promoted from Division 3 last season and hope to survive in Division 2 this season. “We’re never going back down there,” director Søren Klype told the press this weekend.

In Division 3, Northpark City seems to cruise to promotion, already leading with 7 points to Cannon Town on 2nd place. Manager Harry Carter has finally found a recipe for good results for the club, after 5 seasons in the bottom division. The club faced a totally nightmare in history after they won the league in 2005. From that point they lost grip of reality and started to slip down on the table. In 2010 the relegated to Division 2, and again to Division 3 in 2011. They nearly dropped down to League 8 in 2012, but hired Harry Carter as manager that January, who saved them from that tragedy.
Now it’s Carters former club, Everilla Wanderers, who’s battling to avoid relegation to League 8. The bottom half of the Division 3 table has never been more open, with only 6 points difference between the last 13 clubs. At the very bottom we find Downtown Rovers, and Everilla Wanderers, who desperately needs points.
But there’s a lot more games to be played, and the outcome of the season is still wide open.
