BARKINGSEA WINS ROYAL TROPHY CUP

It was a lot of celebrations in Margate this Friday night, as Barkingsea took home a trophy for the first time in their history.
And the final against Tacklebury turned out to be a game to remember.
Tacklebury showed no mercy and started the game with an early goal and controlled the first half easily. Right before half time they scored a second, sending Barkingsea into the locker room two goals down and low on morale.
What Barkingsea manager Craigh Julianos did say during the 15 minutes break is unknown. But the team that entered the pitch in the second half, was a totally different team.
They ran like hell with high pressure and fought like their lives depended on it in every duel.
And they scored. One goal. Two goals.
And in the end of the game defender Wayne Thunder headed home a corner to win the game 3-2.
Barkingsea fans were going totally ballistics and stormed the pitch when the referee blew his whistle.
What a way to win a title!
