THE BIG TRIAL – DAY 2

The second and final day of the big trial was carried out today. The 14 last teams of the division had their case presented, and hopefully be acquitted.
There were many eyes on the trial as this would finally settle who would become champion, and who would be relegated. Unless, off course, someone should appeal.
The outcome was as following:
– Maiden City, Promulgate, Bedford Athletic, Manston City, Bringby Glovers, Maiden United, Exway Rovers was found not guilty.
– Working and Dedham County was found guilty and convicted to pay a fine for unsportsmanlike conduct.
– Everilla and Axton Rovers was found guilty in influencing games to their advantage and was convicted to withdraw 8 and 17 points this season.
– Lutham Forest, Newsham, Blackwell City, and Southpool were found guilty in serious corruption and convicted with relegation together with Goford from the first day.

More than one director was seen leaving the court with a grim face. Whispering about appeal was everywhere.
