SEASON 20/21 STARTS

The first month of the 20/21-season has been played, and with only 1000 spectators allowed at the stadiums, the great feeling is clearly missing.
The clubs are coping with the covid situation differently. While some teams are finding it hard, others seems to be at their best.
Maiden United won the league in 12/13-season, but have struggled ever since to be more than a mid-table team. Now they have suddenly rocketed off to the top of the table, winning all their 4 first matches of the season. “It’s where we belong”, said manager Pierre Saint in an interview with the local newspaper.

In division 2, Upholster have the same boost. They came third last season but lost play-off to Everilla Wanderers. Now they want to prove that they are worthy for the top division, and hope for promotion this season. “Fuck yeah! We’re worthy”, said manager Trevor Brooking. “Those lucky Everilla-bastards have nothing to do in the top division. This season we will promote, and laugh all the way watching Everilla relegate.”
So far he might be right after a dreadful start for “The Gomps”, loosing all 4 first games, without scoring a single goal.
