HOW TO END THE SEASON 19/20

The discussion on how to end the 19/20 campaign has been long and difficult. Most clubs will loose a lot of money if the season starts up again. But yesterday RFA finally came to conclutions:

“Due to the pandemic situation we will end the 19/20 season this way:

  • Ripper League will end as it stands. One team will be promoted, and one will be relegated. No play-offs will be played.
  • Division 3 will end as it stands. One team will be relegated. Two teams will be promoted. Four teams will be in play-offs for promotion.
  • Division 2 will end as it stands. Three teams will be relegated. Two teams will be promoted. Four teams will be in play-offs for promotion.
  • Division 1 will continue the season with heavy restrictions, including player-testings, and no spectators allowed.

All teams have two weeks to prepare for the first game. All the play-off games will be played on the remote Isle of Rot. The semi-finales first leg will be played on a Wednesday, the second leg on a Friday, and the final on Sunday.”

Ending the 19/20-season is just one of the challenges to deal with at the moment.
