SOUTHPOOL AIMS FOR THE TITLE

Since manager Warden Strikewell arrived at Southpool in 2007, the club has been one to count on in all competitions.
Last year they won the Royal League Cup, and won a place in the European Princes League.
This season they seem to be aiming for their second Royal League title in history, as they halfway through the season are leading by 10 points.
“We pretty much have got the right players in the right position,” is the explanation from manager Strikewell. “Kevin McDermot and Terry Crawford have found their place in the midfield and are probably the best men in the whole league to support the attack.”
And to underline his argument the two midfielders are flying high at the top of the assist statistics. But striker Scott Young is also doing a mans work in their attack, having scored 30 of their 50 goals so far this season.
Beware of Southpool and their squad this season.
