CHANGES IN LOWER LEAGUE SYSTEMS

From next season we will find more teams participating in the Royal FA Cup and the Royal Throphy Cup, as RFA introduces changes to League 8 and the part-time league.
RFA has terminated the contract with Dino Dini and the League 8 system. Because of the big interest in the lower divisions, RFA has decided to expand the League 8 division to a total of 24 clubs, on level terms with division 3. The brand new division will be named Ripper League, after their sponsor Ripper Boots.
2 clubs will be promoted to division 3, (1 directly and 1 after play-off with clubs ending 2-5). 1 club will be relegated.
Below Ripper League there will be a part-time league containing 16 clubs in their own league system. The winner will be promoted to Ripper League, and no club will relegate as this is the lowest level.
